| About The Artist |

Leila Yassami has been an artist for over twenty years. She started drawing since the age of twelve. She is a graduate of the National Academy of Design in Manhattan, and has studied many years at the Art Student League of New York. She has had the opportunity to work under the direction of several reputable artists including James Childs, Peter Cox, and the world renowned artist Nelson Shanks with whom she continues to work in order to enhance her painting and drawing skills. As a member of the National Arts Club and the Portrait Society of America, her interest is mainly in the classical and impressionist styles - see Artist's Works.
